I spent a lot of time in October putting books aside. I can't even give a count of the number of books I started and didn't finish. I finally had to power through a couple books just to get something finished. And yet, looking at my star ratings, they are quite high. One of my favorite books of the year was the first book I finished this month, Betty Ford, and I read several others that will rank quite high at the end of the year.
